Good evening, this update Intressante day .... Like many people, I guess you use the AN on a Dobsonian, or other azimuthal mount. For my part, I look at this system to facilitate scoring a mount Takahashi EM200. It is no longer possible to update the EM200 with a goto system, and I am seduced by the comments on the Argo Navis. Is someone ctm who uses a equatorial ctm mount? Best Regards; Eric
Good evening Merinos, Argo Navis seems not very known in France, yet there has qq astrams even when using it, probably indeed primarily on Dobson. In my case, I do not use it on a Dobson (Dobson on my, I have a SkyCommander, simpler, more old generation, but enough), but on an old C14 on equatorial fork mount . The system is very accurate, efficient, easy to use and calibrate ... Full manipulated even in winter with gloves. You do not have a "Go-To", but a "Push To", but it is already very apprciable. There are quite advanced functionalities which I do not use it. Do not send an email hesitates Gary Kopf who can advise you best. There had been on a fairly WA Detailed description by (?) Who had installed on Alt-Az mount. A little research you will certainly find the post. Clear Skies! Laurent
