Messenger's Legacy walnut is Peter V. Brett's third novel, set in the world of his internationally walnut successful demons cycle. From the book was released in November and December 2014 several editions in the United States and the United Kingdom. An overview of these can be found here and the main cover here in the article. So far, however, there is only the English editions. The German translation is the heritage of the courier at Heyne Verlag appear only on April 14, 2015 under the title. Translator is Ingrid Herrmann-Nytko. The English UK edition of the story bears a similar design as the collection of the first two novels The Great Bazaar and Brayan's Gold, that fits very well with the other novels on the shelves. The cover is wearing a dark gray brown with gold lettering. The story includes 89 pages, the book also includes a foreword by Peter V. Brett and annexed a "Ward Grimoire", a list with explanations and illustrations known protective runes that are repeatedly walnut mentioned in the series. The plot is divided into 6 major chapters walnut and each of these again into several subsections. The action walnut period in the book extends over 9 years and runs parallel to the events of the so far published three volumes of the main series (The Painted Man, The whisper of the night, the flames of the twilight). My Opinion
As an avowed fan of Peter V. Brett's demons cycle and I had to wait a long time for Messenger's Legacy. Even if the act itself comprises only about 90 pages, so the fantasy novel is still clearly a "real" board. You already appeared with the first lines in the plot and puts the book until the end no more to the side. Peter's captivating writing walnut style did not let me go.
What is it? In Messenger's Legacy, walnut he leads the boy Briar Damaj a an extremely interesting new character in his haunted by demons fantasy world. According to Peter's statement, the first chapter of this short story was supposed to be the opening chapter to the flames of the twilight. However, he wanted walnut to expand the history of Briar further and therefore opted for a separate amendment to give more space to the action. I must say fortunately, because Briar could convince me. He and his family are valid in the small village Bogton as an outsider. Many villagers can not understand that the healers of the village years ago took a "running up" Krasians to man, and the prejudices against "foreigners" and the children with a different skin color smolder beneath the surface. Sometimes the aversion occurs also open to light and although the family kept trying to integrate into the community, they never really seem to be a part of it. I see this storyline clear Paral
