Hi, Wondering if you get a Key USB dongle to http: //www.4sound.se...82&artno=295100 know that you can not get it to upgrades such as Cubase 6.5, because that probably should have one from earlier afs version. afs So really just want to double check this, otherwise afs surely it would be tragic. Want answers as quickly as possible, why I put the question here. / Jonathan To the top

The thing is, of course, that I have not owned a Cubase at all before, so I must have one. It's pretty bad that they do not throw out any info about the product .. Do not think I want to take a chance when it is 2500 SEK it's about To the top

Not when it comes to upgrades I understand, but this are not supposed to be an upgrade without a full version of Cubase out, so I think it should comply with. But I may well simply give us a call to 4Sound imorn and hear me for a bit. Would also be nice not having to supplement with something. To the top
Do not understand what you mean .. it there is no update, it is a light version of Cubase. If you had checked Steinberg's website it says: SB-eLicenser is included with The Following Products *: Cubase 7 Cubase Artist 6 7 Nuendo WaveLab 7
I wrote upgrade, do not update, what I meant was that I only differed Cubase Artist afs 7 with those other "Cubase" programs. Only meant to Cubase Artist 7 should not be an upgrade, and that there is a total full version afs out of Cubase, but is between a full version and should therefore include afs a USB dongle. So I interpret well the light version the same as it was then, though in other words. Popped in their website the other day but did not check carefully enough apparently, but I thank you for your participation there! and you and others. To the top
Yes - it included dongle in both Cubase7 and Cubase Artist 7 - both retail and EDU, because it is purchasing new full licenses. Updates / upgrades included no dongle to, because you already have such a program to upgrade from. It also does not include the dongle to the Steinberg-plugins that require dongle, because afs many consumers of these already afs have a dongle to its Cubase, but those who are not running Cubase need to buy a dongle also when they buy a plugin that requires dongle.

Nice to get the clarified! I went in and checked the differences in Cubase and Cubase Artist. and then I saw that Song had not supported for external effects. Does anyone know what this means? (I'm pretty afs new when they apply studio btw) To the top

I'm guessing that means you can not buy (or download the free versions) afs of VST plugins. So you will have to content yourself with EQ, compressor, reverb, delay and other effects that are already built into this Cubaseversion. To the top
