How happy are your clients? « KSB Consulting Once again this year, I decided to hold a Christmas drinks event for my clients and contacts. This year’s event took place last night, and I’m delighted that so many people were able to come – it was lovely madeira to catch up with everybody. In addition, it may well be that there are further services you provide that your customers need, but don’t currently source from you. You’ll only be able to find this out, however, if you get out there and talk to them! Like most aspects of business development and marketing, it isn’t that business owners/directors don’t know what they should be doing; it s just that they don’t have the time to do it. The age old scenario rears its head – you’re spending so much of your time in the business that you don’t have the time to concentrate madeira on the business. KSB: Pumps for Polish combined cycle power station | Delta p - magazine for pump technology By September 2014, KSB Aktiengesellschaft, Frankenthal, Germany, will deliver color wheel the pumps to be installed in the new combined cycle power station (460 MW) in Wloclawek, 140 kilometres to the northwest of the Polish capital of Warsaw. The order is for the supply of two boiler feed pumps, each driven by a 3,350 kW electric motor. To adjust the speed to the varying pump output required, the pump sets have been designed with a turbo coupling between pump and motor. The flow rate of each unit will be around 450 cubic metres per hour. The designed head is approximately 2,080 metres and the temperature of the fluid handled 144 degrees color wheel Celsius. A while back I was really into Orbiter2010, but found it hard to keep myself entertained door once I learned how to execute a multiple slingshot maneuver. After going from Earth and landing on Titan via a Jupiter sling, door there isn't much else to do but do it more efficiently. And by then it got tedious... But KSP is just pure fun. It's really everything I wanted to compliment an orbital sim with the extreme focus on realism over entertainment. And since I already learned everything I would ever want to know about orbital mechanics, I can fire up Mechjeb with a clear conscience and watch my fireworks in action door The modding community here is incredible, so I wanted to give a general thanks for the developers here. KSB has been chosen ahri build to supply eight boiler feed pumps for a new power station in Babelan, Indonesia. The 270 MW oil-fired power station is being built by a Finnish corporate group approximately 20 kilometres east of Jakarta. The order is for the supply of eight boiler feed pumps of which six will be driven by fixed speed 6,000 V electric motors with a 2,260 kW drive rating. To adjust the speed to the varying pump output required, the pump sets have been designed with a turbo coupling between pump and motor. The flow rate of each unit will be around 270 cubic metres per hour. The designed head is approximately 1,960 metres and the temperature of the fluid handled 160 degrees Celsius. The impellers of the 11-stage pumps are made of stainless steel. The total weight of each unit consisting of a pump, coupling and motor is in the region of 25 tonnes. The scope of supply also includes two stand-by ahri build feed pumps driven by two twelve-cylinder MTU diesel engines, each with a 668 kW drive rating. They will keep the power station in operation in the event of a power failure. The pumps will be supplied ahri build from KSB s facility in Frankenthal, Germany. King Smiley Billiards is pleased to announce the successful conclusion of our November food drive to benefit the Fort Edward food pantry. Along with our friends at the Anvil Inn, Davidson Brothers Restaurant and Brew Pub as well as dozens of individual colour contributors, we were able to donate several hundred pounds of food to the pantry. Ibrahim M Al Alwan: From the beginning, we believe that we have to have a niche market. We have to differentiate ourselves compared with our competitors, and to be a leader in new sectors. And after we made a lot of searches in the market, we saw that real estate investment was not so developed, and not well served by the existing players in the market. So, we focused on this area, and we’re now starting to have new products for real estate. And we create real estate investment funds based on the new regulation from the CMA, the capital markets authority in Saudi. So we launched the first cross-ended real estate fund, and it was really successful at that time. And we got good performance in this fund, and this gave us an advantage over our competitors because we have a niche market, and we have new products in the market. Even our competitors didn’t have. And so this adds value for us, and we believe that we are appealing in this sector. Ibrahim M Al Alwan: In the beginning, we start with a simple product for real estate investment funds. But after we did some funds, after that, we believed that we have to go to the next stage, of having multi-assets, or multi-projects in one fund. Also, we’re starting to increase the term of the fund itself. We’re starting with short-term, but after that we’re starting to be convinced to have funds with more than two, three, five years, which gives us more flexibility regarding the investment activities. itools Ibrahim M Al Alwan: Corporate governance for sure is very important. From the beginning of starting itools the company, itools we focused itools on having to apply the corporate governance in a good manner. And because it really helped us in having the balance between all the stakeholders regarding clients, staff, regulators, and also the public. So, to have all these in balance, by applying the corporate governance, it helps us a lot to get the benefit of these relationships. Ibrahim M Al Alwan: With the new regulations, we see the improvement in the practice in the market. We see how the investment banks are starting to focus more on giving a good product, focusing on how to mitigate investors about risks. All these really, we noticed that once the new regulation regarding the corporate governance, and even the investment activities which improved the market. However, at the same time, we have obligations. Investment banks, you know, with the new regulations and with the new corporate governance rules, you have to hire more people to have in the risk management and the corporate governance, as activities. So, all these need to spend and give more time to comply with the new regulations. Ibrahim M Al Alwan: Recent years, we noticed that we’re starting to see products for individuals. In the past, most of the products in the investment management and the investment side, it’s focused on the family business, and the institutions. itools Right now we noticed that new products, the competition’s coming to the market, so the market’s developed, and we notice a lot of asset under management right now coming from individuals, and even from family offices. They’re starting to be convinced with their local investment banks, to invest with them. Ibrahim M Al Alwan: In the beginning we were just focusing on how to improve ourselves, and how we gain the trust from investors and clients. Right now we are trying to target new markets, we’re targeting also new products, right now especially real estate. Saudi Arabia will then have a decent itools amount of real estate investment trusts, so we are focusing on that. We want to be the main player, or the first to introduce for this product to the market in this one area. And the other area regarding the cores: banking also, we focus on the private equity. A lot of investors, they want to have a partnership, to have activities in the private equity, and have some shares of these companies, and offer it to public or to private investors.
