Hello, I return on my grandmother's apartment. I would like to take now the door. There are 3 pairs of such just like in the pictures. I would be grateful if someone gave know how to go about it. The easiest way would be sanded and painted over again, but also thought about using a heat gun to strip away all the layers of paint easily, then sanded and painted with clear lacquer. Here arises the question, I heard from a friend that decades ago, sometimes the doors in this style were made of different pieces of wood, attached to each other. The effect of the entire operation may not be satisfactory. Please, doradźcie much truth in this, and do you have maybe some better ways of old door? Greetings

Thanks for substantive reply So anyway, I have to take off layers of paint, and then find out how to actually look the door. I would love to be with a nice wood and I do not have to paint them, but unfortunately I do not know what I can find there. Thanks again!
